Shared shopping alerts may let household members know when a shared item is marked purchased near a store, so they can update the shared list while a shopping trip is underway.
Your live device coordinates are not shared with household members. Shared content may reveal items, habits, schedules, locations, dietary preferences, or health-related products, so keep private items off shared lists.

Optional AI features use Google Gemini to help categorize items and generate starter lists when enabled. burr sends only the item, task, category, store type, and prompt content needed to provide the AI feature, and does not send your email address, account identifiers, household identifiers, location data, purchase-history identifiers, or subscription information to AI providers for current v1 AI features. You can disable AI features anytime in Settings > Profile > Privacy > AI Features.
Shared items are visible to your household only when you choose to share them. Shared content may reveal items, habits, schedules, locations, dietary preferences, or health-related products, so keep private items off shared lists.
Household members can see shared shopping items, tasks, and lists. Shopping alerts may include your display name, the store name, and the shared item marked purchased; live device coordinates are not shared.
